Fix for Samung lcd TV colour display problem.


Samsung lcd 40" tv with a serious colour issue. 
Checked powersupply board for bad caps, checked cables were seated properly to T-con board, still no luck. Factory reset did not help either. Entered the service menu, find your combo here

and i found DDR option was set to "line" I changed that to "samsung" and everything went back to normal.

LAPTOP CHARGER OPEN AND REPAIR CABLE


Symptoms – laptop is not charging, damaged cable close to charger casing.
Troubleshooting – visibly inspect cable for damage, check for DC output with multi meter.
Solution – pry open casing, desolder output cable, cut off damaged part and resolder.
Precautions – make sure it is disconnected from mains.
Tools required – vice, hacksaw, flat screwdriver, solder iron, solder sucker, solder, well lit and comfortable antistatic workspace.
