Symptoms
Noisy fans, computer unstable, slow and shutting down by itself.
Troubleshooting
Check temperatures with sensor monitoring software. Open cover and visually inspect fans and heat sinks.
Solution
Thoroughly clean fans, heat sinks etc. Re-check with sensor monitoring software.
Precautions
Unplug from mains. Do not use hair dryer, vacuum cleaner or air compressor.
Tools required
Philips screwdriver, container to keep screws etc, and well lit and comfortable antistatic workspace.
